We are very sorry not to be able to run our normal in-house café, but want to ensure that we keep all customers and staff safe and well.
-
All the café food will be served in disposable food cartons.
-
The "café" will be outdoor based and the barn will be well ventilated - so please do wrap up warm! Remember hats, scarves, gloves etc - your winter woollies.
-
We are really sorry but this year we are asking that no dogs (except guide dogs) come into the barn to allow for easier shopping experience.
CORONAVIRUS MANAGEMENT PLAN
To reassure our customers that we are taking the current situation very seriously, we have devised the following hygiene management plan for The Sussex Christmas Barn.

We advise that everyone uses the conveniently located hand sanitisers before AND after entering the barn.
Please can you explain this to your children and accompany them.
Our hygiene management plan
We take the health and well being of our customers and our employees and that of our environment very seriously. We thoroughly clean our facilities daily and especially concentrating on high contact areas such as WCs, door handles, basket handles, and card machines. We take immediate action when things break, or are running low. Please let a member of staff know if any soap, sanitiser stocks are running low or cotton gloves are out of stock.
These parts of The Sussex Christmas Barn are the areas we are focused on and we have devised an additional cleaning plan to reduce the risk of spreading infection from these points. Please explain this information to your children, and where necessary please accompany them to these facilities.
All touch points on, or in, the listed areas will be wiped clean following the UK Govt health recommended cleaning fluid 3 x times a day.

Inside each WC is a poster guiding you to wash your hands properly. Please follow these instructions.
The baby changing mat has been removed for the foreseeable future.
